Alexander and Nicholas grew up around firearms, and I have memories of the two of them wearing ear protection and being pushed around in strollers at Old Bridge R&P Club's monthly USPSA league matches watching their father Al compete. On occasion I had the pleasure of being squaded with their Dad and a band of my brother Bill's great friends, all of which could shoot circles around me! So in a way, I've watched these two young men grow-up at the range and set a fine example of expert firearms handling & practical shooting.

Seen here using there semi-auto 2011 "Race Guns" (dot-sighted, double-stack 1911's) in United States Practical Shooting Association's "Open Division", these two are a shining example of why kids should be taught to handle firearms SAFELY at a young age. These boys have placed at regional and national level competitions, and thoroughly enjoy the sport of practical shooting!

New Jersey gun owners have faced some serious, gut-wrenching gun control bill proposals, some of which would curtail or make outright illegal the "temporary transfer" of a firearm to a teenager, spouse or ANY family member! Thank God we fought hard & made THAT one go away (at least for now!). We've endured draconian restrictions that are nothing more than "FEEL-GOOD" legislation that does ZILCH to STOP CRIME! How much more must we endure?

Gun owner UNIFICATION is KEY to WINNING the FIGHT that is gun control in all its' ugly forms! So I ask, I BEG all firearms owners in NJ to please consider JOINING us at CNJFO, so we can stem the tide of unconstitutional gun laws TOGETHER, even if that means more US Supreme Court cases and their amicus briefs. Yes, Dan Wos, we remember all too well how NJ's draconian gun law captured this CRIMINAL, this mother of two boys, and threw her in JAIL for well over 40 days! For newer gun owners, a brief history: Allen was headed to Atlantic City and stopped by a NJ State Trooper for a minor traffic violation. As she presented her documents, she handed the Trooper her PA License to Carry Firearms (LTCF) for the Bersa .380 in her purse. Her LEGAL defensive hand gun with "EVIL HOLLOW POINTS". The SH!T hit the FAN, and she was arrested, and denied PTI (pre-trial intervention) at first. Well over 40 days in JAIL, lost her job and almost her boys too!

Allen was our honored guest at CNJFO's 2017 Family Picnic, and gave the chilling story, in detail, as her kids hugged her to make it a little less painful. We've been fighting unconstitutional draconian gun law here since prior to that event and continue to do so. Reflections on Heller . Part 1. (District of Columbia v. Heller, 554 U.S. 570 (2008)).

Does history repeat itself? Yes. It is 2019 and Pro-Second Amendment folks are called terrorists and criminals by members of Congress. More laws are imminent and the squeeze on Constitutional gun owners progresses. Do you see the writing on the wall? What are YOU going to do about it? Still "in the closet" as a gun owner?

In the SCOTUS Heller decision, now deceased Justice Scalia stated : “Between the Restoration and the Glorious Revolution, the Stuart Kings Charles II and James II succeeded in using select militias loyal to them to suppress political dissidents, in part by disarming their opponents. ... And, of course, what the Stuarts had tried to do to their political enemies, George III had tried to do to the colonists. In the tumultuous decades of the 1760’s and 1770’s, the Crown began to disarm the inhabitants of the most rebellious areas. That provoked polemical reactions by Americans invoking their rights as Englishmen to keep arms. ... Americans understood the ‘right of self-preservation’ as permitting a citizen to ‘repel force by force’ when ‘the intervention of society in his behalf, may be too late to prevent an injury.’” — District of Columbia v. Heller, 554 U.S. 570 (2008).

You as a GUN OWNER, an alleged Patriot, need to start thinking long and hard about what is unfolding before your very eyes. Will you remain IN the closet? Many of you are hiding from public view, afraid to let your family, neighbors or employer know you are a gun owner in New Jersey. You need to COME OUT and you need to DO IT SOON! I could never be in the closet , as I take the “live free or die” mantra literally. As a widow, I understand the untimely-ness and permanence of death all too well—better than most. I reaffirm, I live free or die. I refuse to be a slave or a victim. I refuse to relent!

If you are in the closet now, how will you behave when more arrests happen, prosecutions, defamation and worse? Will you dig deeper under your covers and hope they don’t come for you? Think again! They know who you are and you will not be saved. Will you stand by while your comrades in arms are taken down? Then how much of a true comrade were you? You’re a bystander and not as free as I am. I feel sorry for you.

Are you tired of being used as a doormat with gun bill after gun bill being proposed? Are YOU ready to VENT but not sure how? Taking a stand comes in many forms. Being a CNJFO member is of course a prerequisite to calling yourself a 'free person'. Better yet, volunteering to be on a Coalition Committee such as Membership, Shows & Community Outreach, Youth Day at the Range, and a lot of others provide an outlet for your frustration to do the most good right here in NJ!

There's a time & place for Keyboard Commandos. This ain't it. The rubber needs to meet the road. NJ's one million gun owners must UNIFY, must COME OUT of the CLOSET, and must stand as brothers & sisters and BE COUNTED! It's time to FIGHT our ruling class once more! LEAD, FOLLOW OR GET OUT OF MY WAY!

Muller, flanked by a dozen or so delegates to The DC Project, including our NJ delegate, CNJFO Communications Director Theresa Inacker, gave her viral remark during testimony yesterday as an invited witness as Dick Heller sat with The DC Project delegates in support of Muller.

NAT'L ASSAULT WEAPONS BAN HEARING A SHAM!
INACKER NOW NJ DELEGATE TO THE DC PROJECT!

Yesterday, I and several other delegates from The DC Project had the honor and pleasure to support our Founder, Dianna Muller, as she testified before the House of Representatives Judiciary Committee on the so-called Assault Weapons Ban proposed by Democrats. The Democrats are proposing an ‘assault weapons ban’ similar to what we have so far defeated in New Jersey, in that a firearm with a detachable magazine and one other "evil" feature, would be banned.

The features feared by Democrats are, for example, a pistol grip, a barrel shroud and an adjustable stock. These COSMETIC features all make the AR-15 platform more controllable, safer for the user and fun to shoot.

There were too many disturbing and ignorant statements to repeat them all, but the Democrats and their witnesses made it clear: civilian disarmament is the end goal. Representative Swalwell described an Austrailian-style “buyback” scheme. A Police Chief stated that any gun that “could be used to hunt a human” should be banned – of course, this means EVERY GUN should be BANNED!

In my opinion, politicians need to understand that there ARE limits to how far the people are willing to let them go—yes, WE THE PEOPLE will decide that—not the other way around!

On a positive note, the highlight of my day was spending time with the one-and-only, Dick Heller of the SCOTUS case Heller v. D.C.. What a great 2A Patriot! We discussed New Jersey’s current situation, the Heller Foundation and what the future might hold both nationally and in NJ in particular.

Some history: Heller v. DC is quoted DOZENS of times in Mark Cheeseman's carry case coming up for conference at the US Supreme Court next month. Heller's precedent-setting case is the very set of building blocks Cheeseman's case needed to assert that the right to keep and bear arms is NOT LIMITED to INSIDE your HOME!

Every time I hear some self righteous blowhard—politician/rich actor/supposed “expert”/arrogant media editorialist—pontificate from atop Mt Pious demanding more gun control and more bans and more government “permission”, on top of “background checks for every firearm” TRANSFER not just sales; every time I see another fake “poll” (as if majority rule has any basis for Constitutional governance) implying/overtly declaring false sense of security trumps liberty; every time I hear the absurdly paradoxical claim that “no one needs an AR15 except MuhMilitary & MuhLawEnforcement” (Which they abhor until it’s time to send someone to kick in doors of people they don’t like) then proceed to conversely claim said “AR15 would useless against MuhTanks/MuhDrones/MuhApache gunships” is ignorant of asymmetrical warfare—

I immediately have (and I’m looking at you Feinstein/Schumer/Weinberg—all of which are protected by NFA Weapons at taxpayer expense) an uncontrollable urge to watch Schindler’s List again. Then watch it again. Then watch Schindler’s List yet again-so my resolve to tell those of you who’d sooner see me dead or in prison “go f**k yourself repeatedly with a cherry flavored AIDS cactus—you’ll have to murder me because this s**t has and does happen—I’m not getting into the boxcar” is strengthened!

Anyone who cannot be trusted with a firearm cannot be trusted without a custodian. Period. Full stop. No more conversation. Nothing more to debate. The end.

If we cannot trust someone free in society to posses any firearm they deem appropriate to defend themselves & their family—to carry a handgun with as large a magazine as comfortable, with the best ballistic ammunition possible, we certainly should not trust them to possess a 2500lb gas filled missile with only a painted line separating them from my family—let alone trust they can interact with me and my family in public.

QUINTON SPORTING CLAYS COURSE CHALLENGING!

The Coalition of New Jersey Firearm Owners sent a squad of six Patriots into "battle" the unique sporting clays course presentations that the Quinton Sportsmen's Club in Salem, NJ offers. The ninth annual Wistarburg Ruritan College Scholarship fundraiser took place in South Jersey today along the handsome 16-station heavily-wooded course in beautiful weather with clays zooming in every direction.

CNJFO's squad included Mark Cheeseman (he has a carry case up for conference at the US Supreme Court!), CNJFO Communications Director Theresa Inacker, CNJFO Vice President Dave "Rosey" Rosenthal, Patriot Pin recipients Gerard Arose and Carmen Urso, and new member Vincent Oliva.

CNJFO sponsored station #7 (see sign in group photo). Our entire squad shared a battery powered golf cart and Rosenthal brought cold water for the squad. We all had a great time supporting this worthy cause and got to mingle with some South Jersey clay dusters. Some broke more clays than others, and our Theresa Inacker earned "High Lady" for the event, bringing home a nice hanging mum.

Cheeseman broke-in his new Remington Model 870 12 ga. pump, Urso used his 117 year old 12 ga. Parker SxS, Inacker smacked clays with her Benelli semi-auto, Arose used his Caesar Guerini O/U, Rosenthal dusted & missed with his CZ 20 ga. SXS and Oliva used his 12 ga. O/U to great effect.

The Coalition is proud of the work our volunteers do at these community outreach shooting events that lend themselves to instigate conversations about everything from firearm storage & transportation to the new Red Flag Law being inflicted upon NJ gun owners. Education & ACTIVISM are our hallmarks.

"It’s a Sunday night and your family has all gone to bed. You let the dogs back in and lock the deadbolt like you do every night. All the lights are off now except a couple of night lights scattered throughout the house leaving that dim glow throughout your home. It’s bedtime and work and school are going to come early in the morning. You crawl in bed, kiss your wife and drift off to sleep being thankful for the air conditioning that allows you to pull that heavy quilt up over your shoulder despite the fact it’s still 85 degrees outside. A few hours pass...

0200 Monday morning and your wife taps your leg and says, “baby I heard something outside”. As you sit up in bed you hear the dog growling in the living room and you know something isn’t right. You grab that trusty 'ol 870 and head into the living room. Your wife grabs her 9mm and heads down the hall to the kids rooms just like you have rehearsed.

“Good boy” you say as you enter the living room, trying to calm both the dog and your wife just as splinters fly across the room and the front door flies open. “Oh shit!” As you shoulder your weapon and send a load of 00 Buck across your living room and see the perpetrator fall in a heap. Before the “thank God” can even run across your brain, you see a second man coming in the door and you fire again. This time you hear the pop of your wife’s 9mm as she has joined in the fight. It has to be those damn meth heads from down in town!

Just then you are consumed by a wall of bullets as you see multiple muzzle flashes from just outside the door and you realize something isn’t right. You turn to yell at your wife to “get down” just in time to see her take a load of buckshot to the face and her brain matter splatter the wall behind her. You feel the burning as 5.56 rounds riddle your body. One clips your spine as you’re scrambling away and paralyzes your lower body. The last thing you see before you bleed out is a SWAT guy from your local PD holding your teenage daughter on the floor with a knee in her back as she screams and cry’s because she just watched her parents being murdered.

Why did this happen? You’re no criminal. You’re a Conservative and an honest family man. Your wife is a school teacher and your daughters are on honor roll. Why did this happen?

Well two days ago, you and your wife went down to welcome the new neighbors to the community. Your wife made them some of her “world famous” cookies and you invited them to church on Sunday. Later that afternoon, you got a friend request on Facebook from your new neighbor, which you gladly accepted. They seemed a little odd, but in the few minutes you talked they were pleasant enough. The next day while you and your family sat in church, your new neighbor scrolled through your Facebook profile. He saw that “Trump 2020” post and got infuriated because he’s a staunch liberal and he hates your kind. The next thing he sees are the hunting pictures you took last fall when your daughter bagged her first buck. Now he’s seething with fury because he is wholeheartedly against the “slaughter of innocent animals”.

Next he sees your post from the last range day with your buddy and sees those scary black assault weapons on the table and that does it! He has to do something about the racist, right wing extremist, domestic terrorist living next door. He picks up the phone, calls the local Sheriffs Office and reports you as a threat under the new Red Flag law. The Sheriffs Office follows their SOP’s and conducts a no knock warrant because you have now been denied due process and you are considered guilty until proven innocent.

Now you, your lovely wife and two deputies have been killed for nothing. Your daughter will have absolute hell for the rest of her life. She will never be that successful person you dreamed for her to be because of the mental tragedy caused from seeing her parents murdered. The local news paper will report that you were killed after firing-on, and killing, two deputies and that “over a thousand rounds of ammo and 22 guns were confiscated from your residence”.

Oh... those two deputies were just following orders. They left behind families as well and had served their community for over a decade. They didn’t know you were a stand-up guy with a great family. They weren’t allowed time to investigate things under due process. They were told you had threatened your neighbor and were out in the street waving an AR15 around.

This is the reality of Red Flag gun laws. Innocent people will lose their lives, including police serving these unconstitutional no-knock warrants. Red Flag laws will be used for petty and vengeful reasons without merit by gun hating liberals who believe if you own guns, that it somehow automatically makes you a threat to society and therefore you are a right wing extremist domestic terrorist who MUST be stopped and neutralized at all costs (for the safety of others).

Do not forget that ALL gun laws are an infringement of your rights!"

They jump like a cat going after a laser pointer and they wear themselves out doing it! Work, school, family, church, elders, kids, it all adds-up. Here at the Coalition of New Jersey Firearm Owners we have to editorially examine the landscape of gun control on a daily basis and bring you our readers the news you need to know to make better decisions about firearms law and their significant, but often hidden consequences.

If we let the Puppeteers on BOTH sides of the 2nd Amendment pour gas on the fire, we're always chasing our tails wasting time & energy we could spend on extolling the TRUTH! Writing about the TRUTH! Telling our friends & relatives about the TRUTH! So...Take back the space between your ears, and always remember this video. STAY FOCUSED and not DISTRACTED!

As an EXAMPLE to the above:

Beto doesn't want your AR-15 bad enough to send the Cops door-to-door! He merely wants "Common Sense Gun Legislation" that goes after PARTS, the manufacturing & shipping of PARTS, the buying of PARTS online, the feel-good legislation TAXING PARTS and the transportation of PARTS! Bump Stocks = already a done deal. Fancy triggers is next. Then Evil calibers. Black Rifles. It's called INCREMENTALISM and it is the true enemy of the Patriot! Remember folks it's not about GUNZ, it's all about CONTROL!
