5 YRS & 43 DAYS AGO SHE WENT FOR A GUN PERMIT!
HER NEWLY-INSTALLED CCTV CAPTURED HER MURDER!

by Black Wire Media Wed. June 3, 2020 www.cnjfo.com

Carol "Cazzie" Bowne, age 39, was stabbed to death in her own driveway in Berlin, NJ five years ago today as her newly-installed closed circuit video surveillance system captured her homicide. Her estranged boyfriend, who later hung himself, also died. This didn't have to be. It was entirely PREVENTABLE, and just one more notch in the Anti-Gunner's long list of sacrifices at the Altar of GUN CONTROL!

5 years & 43 days ago Bowne feared for her life enough to go apply for a hand gun purchase permit. She was at her wit's end! The permanent Restraining Order had already been granted, the closed circuit surveillance system already bought & installed, and yet the threats & intimidation continued relentlessly. Day AND night. At work, at home, everywhere. Bowne was powerless to stop the onslaught of verbal & emotional encounters. That piece of paper didn't mean a thing to her Ex! She complained to the Berlin, NJ Police on MANY occasions! They STOPPED LISTENING like in the story of "The Boy who cried Wolf"!

Bowne needed not only a firearm, she needed THE Unicorn of Unicorns, that small laminated piece of paper known far & wide to law-abiding gun owners in New Jersey as a "Permit To Carry"! Why you ask? Because even IF she was granted the purchase permit on Day #1 when she applied, she'd still be DEAD, and New Jersey gun law would still have had a hand in her death! How you ask? Well, it turns out that gun owners in New Jersey aren't considered worthy enough for self-protection with a concealed OR open-carried hand gun, and in fact just over 1,300 permits for CCW are currently active in a state with well over 9 MILLION residents! Most of them are issued to retired Police, and the balance to private security, bank guards and the connected elites.

So even IF she would have been granted her purchase permit prior to her murder, IF she chose to FOLLOW NJ GUN LAW instead of risking arrest & imprisonment for 7 YEARS by keeping her equalizer WITH HER, the gun would be locked-away in her residence during her homicide because even domestic violence victims have NO RIGHT OF SELF-PROTECTION and therefore can't keep a loaded firearm with them in a vehicle! Bowne was stabbed to death in her driveway, as she was exiting her vehicle. So she needed a gun WITH HER IN THE VEHICLE, right? Why is New Jersey so ass-backwards when it comes to women's' rights?

Worse yet, in a deplorable show of anti-gun showmanship, and at a Press Conference with his new "sidekick" Attorney General, Gov. Murphy reversed an Executive Order enabling a streamlining of the time-consuming purchasing process "hoops" that need jumped-through in order to legally purchase a firearm in this state! So all of the tears, the letters that the Bowne family wrote to Gov. Christie, especially her mom's that got published in the daily newspaper of record, the Burlington County Times, they all fell on deaf ears with an AGENDA to disarm New Jerseyians instead of putting domestic violence abusers in jail where they belong and providing for victims' pursuit of self-defense!

You want to know why "the gun community" is riled-up this week? It's because more stupid sh!t laws have been piled onto us, the LEGAL gun owners! And we as a community are fed-up and NEED YOUR HELP! So whether or not you own a gun, write some letters to the Legislature AND the newspapers and do it for Cazzie! There's RIOTS in the streets and good people deserve to protect themselves when Police are told to stand-down!

She didn't have to DIE! How many more Cazzie's will it take for NJ residents to stop being sheep?

    EDITOR's NOTE:

We first ran this article 2 YEARS ago in hopes that NJ gun owners would wake-up and realize that we "Gun Nuts" are trying to protect YOUR Constitutional rights. Some listened, some JOINED, and some couldn't bother. Do you know someone that 'sat on the fence" and just decided to become a gun owner? FIRING LINE SHOP OWNER SENT LOOTER TO A DIRT NAP!
LOOTERS RUN LIKE COCKROACHES AS LEAD FLIES!

by Black Wire Media Tues. June 2, 2020 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

An undetermined quantity of looters paid a visit to Firing Line, Inc., a South Philly gun store. After snapping a padlock on the gated parking lot, they broke into the rear of the building via the rear door and entrance to Firing Line. They didn't know the 65 year old owner was there at 4-ish in the morning. They learned the hard way and one of the looters was sent to the city morgue on a platter with a well-placed head shot. The rest of the miscreants scattered like a scene in a cartoon, leaving the gun store's owner to pick up the pieces. Someone showed up at a local hospital with a gunshot wound to the shoulder... A Police investigation continues as the store owner was taken for questioning.

ATLANTIC CITY RIOT & LOOTING WEIGH HEAVILY!
GUN OWNERS FEARFUL OF SUBURBAN VIOLENCE!

by Theresa Inacker for Black Wire Media Mon. June 1, 2020 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

As violence, arson and looting erupt in Atlantic City and Trenton, New Jersey’s law-abiding gun owners are once again lamenting how the 2018 ten-round magazine limit has put them at a dangerous disadvantage in the event that self-defense is required.

In June 2018, New Jersey enacted the magazine reduction ban making it illegal to possess a magazine capable of holding more than 10 rounds of ammunition.

Although ANJRPC filed a legal challenge immediately after the bill was signed into law, the court refused to provide interim relief, sending New Jersey’s gun owners scrambling to store magazines out of state, or seek other alternatives to avoid being charged by the state for possession. The case is still pending before the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. The case survived a challenge in November 2019, when the State of New Jersey tried to have the case dismissed.

History long supports civilian ownership of firearms that can fire more than ten rounds. The earliest repeating firearms date back to the 1500’s.

As video of the looting and arson in cities show hundreds of people in crowds swarming businesses, burning churches and beating people, it proves the point that dispossessing the law-abiding of magazines holding more than ten rounds is an act of violence itself. The government’s overreaching restriction on concealed carry is also another gross violation of civil rights, placing New Jersey’s good guys at a massive disadvantage.

    Image may contain: outdoor

The gun control crowd has lost the argument. As threats are made to enter into residential areas, shuttering people into their homes and closing businesses, criminals know that New Jersey’s populace is vulnerable.

People new to gun ownership are finding out how long the process is. They need the ability to defend themselves NOW, but thanks to New Jersey’s permitting scheme which often takes months, people are finding themselves empty-handed. People are learning that the gun control crowd has sold them total lies, making them believe that it’s easier to purchase a firearm than to buy a toy gun. Remember when New Jersey’s Senator Corey Booker said toy guns were subject to more regulation than firearms?
    https://twitter.com/CoryBooker/status/1125891720632307715…

People are finding out the truth, at a time when they are most vulnerable, and the police are unable to help them.

As the riots are the death knell to the lies of the gun control crowd, a new respect and awareness for the Second Amendment emerges. Let us embrace those with a new interest in being prepared, being responsible and safe.

    EDITOR's NOTE:

Inacker wrote the story early in the morning. We waited for superior still photographs to appear from last night's riots in Atlantic City, NJ. Somewhat strange was the fact that although we Googled "Riots" the major news outlets kept showing us pictures of innocent protests, as if none of this had happened! Just a short while ago we found them, and Jon Bradley of Hammonton, NJ is the creator. We also just received an image of a very prepared store owner in Manville, NJ, ready to fend off rioters & looters that would dare attack his family Pizza restaurant business. Suddenly memories of Koreans on rooftops guarding their businesses during that riot come to mind. NJ is a powder keg tonight, and the only people you can trust to defend you is YOURSELF!

JUDGE ORDERS GUNS RETURNED —NEW JERSEY MAN WHO POSTED NEGATIVE ONLINE REVIEW OF DOC WAS RED-FLAGGED!

By Theresa Inacker for Black Wire Media.

Middletown, New Jersey May 30, 2020 A New Jersey judge has ordered the return of Firearms seized under a red flag order. The Judge, Paul X. Escandon, found that Alfred Conti of Middletown never did threaten a doctor with whom he had a dispute, and that Conti’s guns never should have been taken.

In an abuse of the red flag law, on September 25, 2019, Conti’s firearms were seized from his home.

It all started when Mr. Conti had nerve decompression surgery performed by Dr. Matthew Kaufman. Dissatisfied with the results of the surgery, Mr. Conti posted negative online reviews which angered Dr. Kaufman. When Conti refused to take down the online reviews, Dr. Kaufman’s attorney, James Maggs, contacted the Rumson Police Department claiming they feared Conti and that he threatened them. The guns were then taken from Conti by the Police Department at 1 am. The doctor also filed a defamation suit against Mr. Conti.

In a decision dated May 20, 2020, Judge Escandon found that the state did not even meet a preponderance of the evidence standard, which is merely more than 50%. The judge also found that while Mr. Conti may have used expletives, no threat was made. The judge found that no threat of bodily harm was made, and there was no evidence to support that Mr. Conti is mentally ill, or a threat to himself or anyone else.

The judge also noted that Conti is a retiree with no criminal record. He is a certified RSO, and certified NRA instructor.

Since the proposal of the red flag law, Second Amendment advocates have warned that it would be used in an abusive way by individual parties, or the state, against gun owners merely for harassment purposes. Second Amendment advocates warned that the notorious Red Flag law would be abused and this case is a prime example.

The abuse of red flag laws is a form of what is known as a SLAPP lawsuit- Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation- it is a lawsuit designed to silence critics. It is typically filed by a corporation, the wealthy or someone in power against the little guy. The plaintiff does not normally expect to win the case, but it is in the harassment and cost they find victory. That is exactly what appears to have happened in this case.

FREEDOM WILL FIND A WAY COME HELL OR HIGH WATER!
TIME TO TELL "THE KARENS" TO GO POUND SAND!

by Black Wire Media Friday May 22, 2020 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

OPEN-UP OUR COUNTRY BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!

It's not that difficult. The Bill of Rights are not suspended due to a public emergency. In fact, two of them expressly apply while the country is at war. The Bill of Rights exist to protect you from government infringement. Generally, any restriction must be narrowly tailored and the burden is on government to establish constitutionality.

Given that NJ Governor Phil ("Bucky the Anti-2A Beaver" --Ed.) Murphy expressly scoffed at the thought of considering the Bill of Rights when he shut down the State, one can presume that none of the restrictions will pass constitutional muster. And he keeps moving the goal post. Now we need a vaccine for Corona virus to "open-up New Jersey". We've been fighting the AIDS virus since the 80's and no vaccine exists! Let THAT sink-in!

Basically, he cannot establish the logic and thought process employed in defense of his careful crafting of these restrictions - as none was employed. Things like social distancing and hygienic practices in areas where the disease is spreading would likely be held valid. Such restrictions don't seem to place undue burden on your right to assemble, practice your religion or freedom of speech.

However, we believe about 90% of the restrictions in place today are invalid as a matter of constitutional law. The public needs to either push back or simply ignore them. The states have clearly overstepped their authority and acted without due consideration and regard for our individual rights. They will continue to do so if we sit by and allow it.

This is a watershed moment in the history of this experiment called America. I fear it may quickly lead to serious civil unrest if the States do not reverse course quickly - like what happened in Texas when a salon owner was sentenced to jail time. Contrast that with the actions of this past week in New Jersey.

CNJFO's VP GUEST ON "STOP GUN BANS" PODCAST!
TYRANNY, INDOOR RANGES CLOSED, COVID & MORE!

by Black Wire Media Friday May 22, 2020 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

CNJFO Vice President David "Rosey" Rosenthal was this weeks guest on the Stop Gun Bans podcast with host Michael Zubick. Topics included our OUT OF CONTROL Anti-2A Governor discriminating against indoor ranges (still no reopening plan), and the amount of civil disobedience going on to help Mom & Pop retail stores stay alive, including an update on the Atilis Gym in Bellmawr, NJ. What the Coalition IS and can DO, what the term "Well Regulated" in the 2nd Amendment actually MEANS, Mark Cheeseman's SCOTUS case #19-27, Historian Jay Factor's extensive colonial research library, Gun For Hire's Anthony Colandro, and why we mustn't compromise our rights away!

    LISTEN HERE: https://anchor.fm/…/Battleground-New-Jersey-featuring-CNJFO…

    From Zubick's Press Release:

"David was a joy to talk to and I had no problems listening to him go ahead and educate our listeners. We talked about NJ Law, COVID effecting shooting sports in NJ, outdoor ranges reopening but not indoor, and talked about resistance to get those ranges open.

This was one of our longest podcasts as David is a very informative speaker and guest who, not only is a living personality, but brings a lot to the gun rights movement especially in his area.

Stop Gun Bans looks forward to following a similar model to success nationally as CNFJO has followed in meaning to their state. After a few minutes on air with David I ended the call under the impression that while NJ may be small on your map, CNJFO puts the 2nd Amendment in New Jersey on a much larger map of its own". ---Michael Zubick

NJ GOV. GETS CREATIVE TO SCREW OPENED GYM!
VEE SHUT-OFF ZA VASSER UND ZA HEALTH DEPT. CAME!

by Theresa Inacker for Black Wire Media Thurs. May 21, 2020 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

2A folks tried to warn you. Commissar Murphy is living up to his name. Shutting off the utilities and seizing property at Atilis gym, that gym in Bellmawr, New Jersey that opened earlier this week. I literally have flashbacks of people calling 2A folks “paranoid” and that there is “no such thing as tyranny” or “that can’t happen here.” We were mocked as “gun nuts”.

    Well, here it is.

Second Amendment advocates in New Jersey have long been the scourge of politicians, constantly feeling the increasing pressure of draconian measures as more Gun control flows out of Trenton in a steady stream. For example, when the governor signed his 10 round magazine limit, with no grandfathering clause, we argued that it was a taking of our property without just compensation. ANJRPC filed litigation against the state for the magazine ban. That case is still pending.

Through no fault of our own, we were forced to dispose of magazines holding more than 10 rounds by sending them out of state, rendering them neutered or turning them into the Police. (The New Jersey State police confirmed that not one single magazine had been turned in. )

When the governor started making decisions about the COVID-19 situation, shutting down gun owners was his very first action. He shut down the NICS background check system, and had a lawsuit not been filed, it would still be shut down.

Second Amendment people, including myself personally, have been raising the flag of concern quite vocally for upwards of a decade. Government actors who think that they can take your property with the swoop of a pen, will have no problem applying that same power to you or something that you care about. It may be your business, your chattel, the possibilities are endless. That is exactly what is happening today.

Second Amendment people tried to warn you that overreaching government is a monster that needs to be fed. We have done all the right things, like contacting our legislators, attending hearings in Trenton, rallying, filing lawsuits and so on.

We were actually doing the bidding of all the people, not just Second Amendment people. If only more people had recognized that government overreach against one group will eventually become government overreach against themselves. Staying silent against a tyrant is not an option.

    EDITOR's NOTE:

2A Patriots have long recognized the overreach of our Government. We've sounded the ALARM to what has been, mostly DEAF EARS! Because this business is NOT firearms related, the news media is covering it like a blanket, looking for every angle to tell the story of obvious unconstitutional oppression by our political masters. We welcome this new energy of the media as well as the light of truth it shines upon totalitarianism.

We hope that John & Jane Doe realize as we do that social distancing in Walmart (and other Big-Box stores) and social distancing at a members-only Gym where the equipment is being sanitized after each use is virtually the SAME, if not LESS RISK! At the end of the day, history will reflect this time period NOT as one of just a virus, but of how easily the Sheeple let their Government CONTROL THEM!

That's IF the TYRANTS don't shut the water off where the real story is BEING WRITTEN & then call-in the Health Dept. to close the building!

CNJFO POSTPONES YOUTH DAY DUE TO COVID!
NEW DATE TBD PER YOUTH COMMITTEE CHAIR!

by Black Wire Media Tues. May 19, 2020 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

With just ten days till our scheduled May 29th Youth Day at the Range at Union Hill Gun Club, and indoor ranges still on lockdown per Executive Orders, our Youth Committee Chair has issued a statement:

    "Greetings,

I am Eric the CNJFO Youth Chair. I am not looking forward to this announcement but we must communicate and progress.

As you're all aware we are somewhere in the timeline of a global pandemic. The CNJFO Youth Committee and our sponsors and volunteers have invested a great deal of time and effort into our upcoming youth events and our kids are looking forward to getting their range time.

Unfortunately, we are going to push our May 29th event out into the summer, and hopefully past any further restrictions. This email will not get into politics and opinions about all this ... we will simply state that for the health and wellness of our volunteers, many of whom are high risk, for the best interests our kids, parents, and all involved we have reached this decision.

We will, of course, give refunds as requested. We also invite you to let your payment ride and attend the next announced date. Same venue at Union Hill Gun Club and all the details remain the same. Just a new Friday night will be chosen shortly.

Our CNJFO Youth Committee members are all disappointed, but not defeated. We will reschedule and we will continue our youth program and help ensure our future generations are well versed in the safe handling and enjoyment of firearms.

A new schedule of all pending events will be published as soon as we confirm that the world is back open for business.
Stay healthy and vigilant ... and keep watch for upcoming announcements.

Please reply back or call Eric for information on a refund. To let your deposit ride until we announce the next date just hang tight. If you're unable to attend on the yet-to-be-determined new date, we can refund you at that time.

    Eric M. Saperstein
    CNJFO Youth Committee Chair
    609 658 2955
    eric@cnjfo.org"

    EDITOR's NOTE:

Saperstein's unfortunate announcement shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone with a pulse, but alas it had to be done. CNJFO thanks all our Youth Day at the Range Volunteer Instructors and eagerly awaits a new date assignment. We hope our sold-out class AND our Instructors are able to flex their schedules so as to enable the Coalition to once again lead the way by offering this dynamic & well-respected educational 2A experience. Thank you all for your continued support, enthusiasm and good wishes! As soon as WE know, you'll KNOW!

2ND AMENDMENT SNUBBED; INDOOR RANGES SOL!
NJ's OUTDOOR RANGES CAN REOPEN 6AM FRIDAY!

by Black Wire Media Mon. May 18, 2020 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

Tooth & nail, inch-by-inch, that's how the new frontier of the 2nd Amendment is fought for today here in New Jersey. But at what price? As gun owners adjust weekend plans to go shooting at both outdoor commercial ranges and private shooting clubs' OUTDOOR FACILITIES throughout the state, we ask ourselves doesn't the Second Amendment apply to ALL RANGES? Especially in more densely populated urban areas of northern Jersey where mostly INDOOR firing ranges exist? We think so!

"The right to keep and bear arms is a fundamental right. The Second Amendment makes no distinction between indoor and outdoor ranges. We must not allow anti-rights people to treat the Second Amendment as merely a privilege where permissions are given based upon the whims of a politician. We must never acquiesce to the argument that the Second Amendment only applies in certain places and in certain circumstances. To do so is a dangerous trap that contradicts everything we have been fighting for." ---Theresa Inacker, CNJFO Communications Director

Don't get us wrong. We're not ungrateful. We're as happy as everyone else is to report the lawsuit & injunction, filed by ANJRPC, that threatened the Murphy administration by proving a clear-cut pathway down the road of unconstitutionality, WORKED! And kudos to all involved in the effort! We want to go PEW just as bad as you all! We understand the dynamic of how the Courts work, and why the reopening of indoor & outdoor ranges were separated due to a combination of factors, including but not limited to Murphy's videotaped disdain for all things 2A, stated in his own words at several Press Conferences, as well as citing multiple examples of other outdoor recreational activities being allowed WITHOUT the threat of a lawsuit.

Playing golf isn't covered in specific in the Bill of Rights. There's no Amendment for that activity.

    Our belief:
The Second Amendment not only covers OWNERSHIP & BEARING (AKA CARRY!) of firearms, it also covers PROFICIENCY through PRACTICE! For the often misconstrued term "Well Regulated" as far as the Militia is concerned, had a significant meaning that historians agree upon and now only Reenactors teach at Living History events.

The term "Well Regulated" means having your rifle, sufficient black powder, patching & lead balls, flints to make spark, possibles bag, tools, hard tac (survival rations), canteen, bed roll, and BE SUFFICIENTLY PRACTICED in its use so as to enable oneself to be called upon to DEFEND LIBERTY! How? By hitting what you're aiming at!

So at its base, the 2nd Amendment provides for the ability to PRACTICE WITHOUT RESTRAINT! One can't do that at a closed indoor range. So closing indoor ranges is yet another INFRINGEMENT, plain & simple! Here's praying the indoor ranges won't have to file a separate suit to get our anti-2A Governor to comply!

The Militia was US! And guess what! It STILL IS! Farmers, cobblers, laborers, tanners, coopers, trappers, glass blowers, virtually all walks of life in ANY trade! Back then Washington's Troops were a hodge-podge, but most were WELL REGULATED!

    EDITOR's NOTE:

As a Reenactor with a very modest clothing outfit of the time period, and having been named the country's first Double Distinguished Expert in black powder muzzleloading, and having been a presenter at several Living History Days with his percussion rifle ON SCHOOL GROUNDS in NJ, our Vice President, David "Rosey" Rosenthal, can tell you factually that PRACTICE itself is a prerequisite to fulfill the Second Amendment, and anything else is INFRINGEMENT!

ROSEY'S GREAT ESCAPE! 100 MI. R/T FOR HOT DOGS!
LUNCH ALONG THE PEQUEST RIVER: FEELS NORMAL!

by Black Wire Media Sun. May 17, 2020 www.cnjfo.com/join-us

You can't keep a gunslingin' writer & PR man and his wife cooped-up too long. What happened next was the Rosey version of a Colandro "Quarantine Crawl". Armed with an 8" cigar, CNJFO business cards, orange "Volunteer" tee from the RTSP Youth Day at the Range, a huge smile and a full tank of gas, our VP "Rosey" and his wife of 37 years, Lori, took a cruise to Hot Dog Johnny's on Rt. 46 in Buttzville, NJ to enjoy the sunshine. They did 4 dogs w/ the works, and split a fry & a birch beer for just over $11. Social distancing's 6' Rule was easily followed, everybody wore their mask while at the ordering window and several families picnicked on blankets alongside the picturesque Pequest River.

Rosey patrolled the lot for "NRA & other GUN stickers", and approached contented hot dog eaters with a business card, all cheerfully accepted. Conversations about getting NJ's shooting ranges reopened abounded. The public is READY, and talk of our Governor's unconstitutional continued shutdown of things he doesn't like (the 2nd Amendment for instance), or is "over his paygrade" surfaced. Several Motorcycle Clubs came, ate & went, and a few classic cars, including a '59 Buick Electra 2-door were on display and worth a perusal. 'Cept for the masks, everything was NORMAL and normal FELT GOOD for a change!

Taking Rt. 46 East into the town of Independence, NJ, the Roseys stopped at Best's Farm Market, where several more folk, including the owner & 2 cashiers, struck up conversation & received cards. One woman said she wanted to put some rounds down range through her Sig Sauer hand gun! Northwest Jersey should be its own state; there's FREEDOM there! At least as much as they can possibly get away with!

Readers gettin' in the mood for a Johnny's Hot Dog are hereby reminded to BRING CASH, and, if possible please WEAR A SHIRT WITH GUNZ ON IT! To get your CNJFO t-shirt FREE w/ annual membership, go to: www.cnjfo.com/join-us .
