We're holding our only Pheasant Hunt of the season on Saturday March 17th at Giberson's Farm & Wildlife Preserve in Pemberton Twp., NJ. The format is slightly different: Registration starts at 10:30 am since this is an AFTERNOON HUNT ONLY! We'll have a St. Patrick's Luncheon of Corned Beef & Cabbage (with some home-made stuffed cabbages) & hot dogs w/ drinks at 11:00am, then hunt for 3 1/2 hours, and hold our famous raffle as our birds are being cleaned by the Guides.
The cost of the hunt is $185, the package includes donuts & coffee, lunch, use of all Giberson's facilities during the hunt, a guide and a hunting dog. Each (4 or 5) person hunting party will be given (5) pheasant per hunter.

All NJ hunting and firearms laws apply without exception. All hunters must be licensed, no pheasant stamp required. Day licenses are available at Giberson's for an additional charge. Game tags will be provided. All shotguns must be capacity restricted to 2+1 per NJ Fish and Wildlife regulations.
*** Under a new "Apprentice License" program, unlicensed adults in NJ no longer have to go through the NJF&W Hunter Education Field Test & Exam prior to hunting with a mentor.
This new program was instituted to get more hunters afield to see if they enjoy hunting without the need to attend limited, often overcrowded classes offered only on weekends (when some of us work or attend religious services). The new "Apprentice License" is available to NJ residents & non-residents age 18 & up, costs the same as a regular hunting license ($27.50 for resident), is available for up to two years and is good for hunting almost everything except bear.

So a roadblock was REMOVED to allow us to take currently unlicensed but knowledgeable "gun people" and train them to enjoy hunting! This opens-up the possibilities for well-skilled clays shooters as well as 3-Gun USPSA competitors, IDPA competitors and ALL OTHERS well versed in gun safety! All Giberson's Rules must be followed. No shot larger than #6. Upon arrival and check-in you will be provided a safety brief and instructions. CNJFO assumes no liability nor makes any warrants or representations. All hunters will be required to sign an assumption of risk statement prior to the hunt.
